Dr. Shulin Guo holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from the University of Kansas. She has distinguished herself as one of the brightest stars of new generation of musicians and established a reputation as one of the best piano pedagogues in Kansas.
Dr. Shulin Guo currently serves as a lecturer in the University of Kansas, where she has been responsible for teaching piano lessons and chamber music to graduate and undergraduate students. She has also been a vice president of Mu Phi Epsilon Kansas City Alumni Chapter. Besides that, she has also been teaching private piano lessons in Kansas City area since 2016. Her students have won top prizes at regional piano competitions and have been accepted to The University of Kansas The School of Music.
In 2017, her student Lucy Zuo won 1st prize of Kansas Music Teachers Association State Honors Audition of Grades 11-12. In 2018, her Student Chienjung Hung has been accepted to the University of Kansas School of Music. In 2019, her student Solomon Wu won 2nd place of KMTA State Honors Audition.
She is dedicated to offering the highest quality and level of musical instruction and promoting music appreciation.
